JOB SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company looking to employ an experienced Project Engineer that will be based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or equivalent in Chemical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Advantageous: Qualification in Project Management.
Essential: 3-5 years’ experience in a Project / Maintenance and Engineering environment in the Industrial or Chemical industry.
Advantageous: Cryogenic Design and Project Management experience.
Knowledge and experience in design and installation of process; electrical and instrumentation systems.
Advantageous: Programming PLC’s experience and knowledge of Knowledge of JDE modules.
Computer literate on MS Office.
Must also be willing to travel when required
Valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design safe and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Lead and direct the installation and commissioning of equipment on sites.
Electrical and instrumentation system design and installation.
Project management activities.
Maintenance support.
Support regional and maintenance activities as and when required.
