Project Engineer

Our client based in Port Elizabeth is looking to employ a Project Engineer.

Requirements:

• Minimum National Diploma Electrical / B.Eng Mechatronics or NQF level 4 or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in Automation is advantageous.
• Mechanical, Electronics, and Electrical Troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electrical processes.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Quality Focus and Team Player.
• Driver’s License and own transport essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of PLC Software Systems (Siemens and Mitsubishi).
• Mechanical, pneumatic, and paint-related service and project activities on paint sealing robots.
• Project planning, Installation, and commissioning support for installations.
• Build sound business relationships with customers, related to service activities.
• Site safety implementation during projects and service work.
• Technical assistance during production support time (Breakdown).
