JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, who is a global leader in the Mining industry, is looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team of Engineers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Take responsibility for a broad range of major and minor engineering projects with tasks varying from initial project estimation and tender submission through to final contract negotiation and project design.
Research the feasibility, design, operations, and performance of mechanical systems.
Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems at mine sites within Africa and South Africa.
Work directly with engineering staff, sales staff, and customers to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.

Education:

Grade 12 (Matric)
BEng Mechanical Engineering

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 – 5 years’ experience in project engineering in the mining industry.
Experience in bulk materials and condition monitoring.
Possess effective communication skills to interact with diverse groups of people.
Must be willing to travel.
