Our client, a global leader in the motor industry, based in Kariega, seeks to employ a Project Engineer (plant engineering) to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Initiating facilities and process requirements based on approved layouts.
Preparing information for management decision-making and strategic planning.
Forecasting project timing expenditure and managing project funds within the project budget.
Preparing specifications for purchasing enquiries, cost estimates, project justifications and technical evaluation of tenders.
Establishing project timing plans and ensuring that deadlines are met.
Supervising contractor’s work and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety requirements and standards.

Requirements:

National Diploma in Civil Engineering
3- 5 years project management experience within civil or construction engineering environment
Detailed knowledge of project management
Ability to compile detailed investment studies and project control plans
Computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word , Excel and CAD)
