SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established South African OEM that designs, manufactures, tests and commissions mineral processing equipment and plants for the mining industry. They operate an ISO 9001 (TÜV SÜD) certified quality system and follow a concurrent engineering approach across business development, engineering, projects and fabrication.

POSITION INFO:
About the role Provide essential administrative support to project managers and project teams: coordinating tasks, keeping communication flowing and making sure project activities run smoothly so projects are completed on time. You will report to the Project Engineer \/ Project Manager and oversee the Trainee Junior Project Administrator. Key responsibilities Create and maintain project documentation: plans, schedules and status reports Schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, take and distribute minutes Track tasks and milestones and follow up with team members on deadlines Help track project budgets and expenses with finance and project managers Assist with resource coordination (materials and manpower) Generate regular project status reports and KPI data Help document project risks and issues Support quality reviews of project deliverables Coordinate communication with stakeholders and clients Minimum requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Degree in Project Management, Engineering or Business Administration, OR a Project Management \/ Business Administration certificate Computer literate: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Advantageous Previous experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar Exposure to project management software The right person will be Highly organised with strong attention to detail Good written and verbal communication Team player who adapts to changing priorities Discreet with confidential information
