SUMMARY:
Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role.

POSITION INFO:
What you will be doing:

Plan, direct, and oversee all phases of complex projects or programmes across the enterprise.
Align project execution with business strategy through effective planning, organizing, staffing, negotiating, and controlling of project activities.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including objectives, timelines, risks, and contingency plans.
Escalate impediments, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project value.
Foster continuous improvement within teams and support Agile practices across software development projects.
Lead hybrid Agile/Waterfall initiatives with a strong focus on scaled Lean-Agile principles.
Ensure alignment of program goals with stakeholder expectations and business outcomes.

What we are looking for:

Completed IT / BSc degree or other related fields
5 years' experience as a Project Manager
Strong decision-making and financial management skills.
Proficient in project management principles and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies; Scrum Master certification is advantageous.
Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project (MSP).
Excellent facilitation, report writing, and communication skills.
Familiarity with governance, risk, and control frameworks.
