JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity or career change for an experienced Project Manager within the Engineering Sector. Taking on responsibilities for turnkey projects, improving of current processes & develop and define new processes. Initiate and coordinate CAPEX/Process improvement projects as well as being involved in Energy Saving initiatives and projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Min Requirements:

A relevant Degree/Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
Project management course/solid experience.
Financial acumen.
Experience in drafting/mechanical design on CAD/Solid Works or similar.
Fully computer literate – MS Office, MS Project, Internet, etc.
Metallurgical qualification or experience advantageous.
5 years working experience in an automotive environment.
Hands-on experience in sample-, tooling- and jig manufacturing.
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong administration skills.
Self driven and Deadline driven [ability to work well under pressure].
Disciplined and innovative approach to problem solving.
Desire for continuous improvement.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Extensive project management experience.
Willing to travel, locally and internationally.

Duties:

Manage projects against approved budgets, legal constraints, time lines, etc.
Manage process development & improvement projects.
Liaison between all departments to ensure excellent product handover.
Involved with Energy efficiency initiatives and projects .
Involved with ISO 50 001 Energy Management System, Carbon footprint reporting, Renewable projects and Environmental reporting
