Project Manager- IT Infrastructure - Contract

Our Client a global tech firm is seeking a Project Manager– IT Infrastructure to join their team in Pretoria on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, exposure, Competitive rates and a great working environment.

The Project Manager will manage the implementation of IT infrastructure projects, responsible for ensuring that the project is implemented within a set timeframe and budget. Liaise with internal stakeholders on issues such as deadlines, changes in requirements or budgets. The position involves coordinating with other departments, including Infrastructure, Operations and Security teams, to ensure all necessary elements are included in the project scope. This may involve working alongside architects on matters such as building plans or design changes within a set timeframe.

Requirements

• Project Management, ITIL, Service management process and best practice.
• Managing the project and managing deliverables in line with organizational standards and policies/ procedures
• To manage the inception and implementation of capital investment projects within the controlled constraints of scope, time and budget while ensuring adherence to quality, legal and cost requirements and ensuring a basis for benefits realization is set
• Work with other IT professionals, consultants and contractors to define, design, implement, or support the delivery of a project

Qualifications

• NQF Level 7 or equivalent qualification in the field of Project Management
• Minimum of 6 years working experience in the field of Project Management
• The level of seniority (Strategic, Tactical and Operational)
• Experience with project management software and process improvement techniques are desirable
• Membership in good standing with a professional body in the field of project management (PMP) Project Management Professional
• Cobit®5 and ITIL Framework
