Our client an independent trust requires the expertise of a Provincial Coordinator in each of three pilot provinces who will monitor the implementation and progress of a project at site level. The project involves creating a pathway to link grant recipients to employment and/or entrepreneurship opportunities and thereby improving the financial capability of grant recipients. It is critical to have oversight of the actual process of identifying recipients and the management of household cases at site level.

Essential requirements for the role

• Post-graduate degree in development studies/social sciences, a project management qualification would be an added advantage
• Experience working in community development programs and/or livelihoods promotion programs
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English is essential
• Excellent computer literacy, including research and report writing skills
• Experience at carrying out a similar project at a provincial level essential

The Regional Programme Manager will report to the National Programme Manager

He/she will:

• Provide information required at site level for development of Site Linkages Strategy
• Report on project activities as stipulated by the project team and other key stakeholders
• Prepare presentations for stakeholder engagements and facilitate these engagements at provincial and local level.
