  • Building relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to achieve the companies Public Sector sales objectives.
  • Driving sales and delivery to achieve sales targets, through driving sales and engagement initiatives (including pipeline generation) within existing Public Sector clients and potential clients.
  • Manage the negotiation process with relevant Public Sector clients/agencies to ensure a successful bid process.
  • Proactively resolve all unresolved related queries and concerns through the customer complaints handling process and ensure that all relevant company stakeholders are engaged in the process of resolution.
  • Direct involvement with customers to find new opportunities, help enhance existing opportunities, solving issues related to pre and post sales activities.
  • Maintain executive levels of engagement and communication with strategic Public Sector partners and stakeholders from a partnership and growth perspective.
  • Responsible for joint business planning with strategic sales and solutioning teams.
  • Collaboration with and Account planning with sales, solutioning and LOB teams in growth planning for key accounts.
  • Managing forecasts and pipelines for the business and presenting to management.
  • Managing operational business issues from time to time.
  • Managing and executing on joint marketing activities with the strategic Public Sector stakeholders.
  • Working with the Bid Harvesting team to substantively qualify bid opportunities.

  Skills and Experience:

  Qualification:

  • Matric / Grade 12
    Relevant Tertiary Business Management and/or Compliance Management Qualification

  Experience required:

  • Leading and driving compliance and risk management programmes within the Public Sector environment, across all levels of Public Sector business engagement processes
  • Track record of direct involvement in comliance and risk management strategy development and operational implementation in with a technology focussed organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of principles of technical solutions provided within the context of the role for understanding purposes.
  Key Accountabilities:

  Functional Skills:

  • Analysing Public Sector deal contructs to ensure internal compliance and external regulatory compliance.
  • Determining and implementing compliance methodologies and frameworks within the Public Sector engagement environment to ensure all compliance matters are mitigated to ensure effective account management. In addition, to provide Public Sector engagement guidance.
  • Work with Legal and other internal functions to ensure Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and other regulatory compliance in all public sector deal constructs.
  • Identify potential compliance challenges, including strategic, oeprational and institutional risks.
  • Conduct compliance and risk assessments and manage the output consequences and impact of potential risks through the implementation of mitigation strategies and interventions.
  • Pro-actively seek and recommend enhancements to Public Sector engagement and deal contruct models within the ambit of internal and external compliance.
  • Responsible for assessing metrics and monitoring procedures the organization has set to monitor compliance matters within the public sector portfolio
