A global solution provider in the energy and infrastructure sectors, from conception to decommissioning. Has an opportunity for an QC Inspector - COATING on one of their projects based in Saudi Arabia.

POSITION INFO:

Ã¢Â–Âª In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records

Ã¢Â–Âª Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances

Ã¢Â–Âª Verify/control the correct storage and certification of material and instrumentation calibration certificates

Ã¢Â–Âª Witness/perform qualifications of coating processes

Ã¢Â–Âª Check surface preparation

Ã¢Â–Âª Check and record atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations

Ã¢Â–Âª Carry out wet and dry film thickness checks

Ã¢Â–Âª Monitor observations of the correct coding cycles

Ã¢Â–Âª Verify the correct color-coding and painting

Ã¢Â–Âª Perform visuals inspections

Ã¢Â–Âª Perform adhesion testing

Ã¢Â–Âª Perform penetration testing

Ã¢Â–Âª Evaluate impact testing

Ã¢Â–Âª Perform visual checks after blasting

Ã¢Â–Âª Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all mechanical and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier

Ã¢Â–Âª In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection

Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
