QS Estimator (Electrical)

SUMMARY:
Our Client who is in the Electrical contracting / construction industry is looking for a QS Estimator to join their team based in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric & Electrical Diploma/Degree
• 5+ Years’ relevant experience within a construction environment
• Proficient on MS Office Suite

• Understand contract documents such as JBCC, NEC, MBA
• Tender for new projects
• Understand/read electrical drawings & draw up list of quantities
• Identify the extra work needed to be done on projects & claim extra costs from the Client
• Estimations & budgets for the project
• Advance claims on respective projects
• Liaise with Clients, Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Project Managers & Foreman
• Negotiate for the best prices
