JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Group Basis development Contractor with 4+ years experience in life reinsurance and insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Setting terms of trade for group business
Conducting ad hoc investigations into drivers of experience across the Life Group Business
Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including LH2 division (Singapore)
Maintain research and development database for Group Risk products where applicable
Maintaining the highest standard of technical competence & ensuring terms of trade guidelines are met
Supporting overall Life Business strategy & risk management function
Liaise with technical pricing, group pricing and valuations on research areas
Strong analytical skills, statistical skills and attention to detail
An understanding of the South African insurance/reinsurance market
Good verbal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent programming skills in actuarial/statistical programming languages
Able to work under pressure
