JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a well-known FMCG company based in Johannesburg East is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with haircare/cosmetic products.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or similar field

Skills/Experience required:

8 – 10 years’ experience in similar role
Haircare/cosmetic product experience
Working knowledge of SAP
Strong people management skills

Job Description:

Implementation of Quality Systems in factory and 3rd parties
Managing laboratories
Support product development process
Training of lab chemists and factory staff on GMP, GLP and safety
Incoming RM/PM analysis as per test procedures
Vendor and 3P audits
Leading compliance and safety within factory
Implementation of NCRS/SANS regulations
Implementation of SA waste management plan
Monthly reporting to corporate quality assurance
