Quality Assurance Manager (Haircare & Cosmetics)

Our client, a well-known FMCG company based in Johannesburg East is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with haircare/cosmetic products.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or similar field

Skills/Experience required:

• 8 – 10 years’ experience in similar role
• Haircare/cosmetic product experience
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Strong people management skills

Job Description:

• Implementation of Quality Systems in factory and 3rd parties
• Managing laboratories
• Support product development process
• Training of lab chemists and factory staff on GMP, GLP and safety
• Incoming RM/PM analysis as per test procedures
• Vendor and 3P audits
• Leading compliance and safety within factory
• Implementation of NCRS/SANS regulations
• Implementation of SA waste management plan
• Monthly reporting to corporate quality assurance
