SUMMARY:
Quality Environment Health Safety Manager

POSITION INFO:

Mission of the Function: Quality Environment Health Safety Manager is the critical role within the organization within SA, this role is responsible for providing overall direction for the QEHS function through the development of policies and procedures consistent with organizational objectives, requirements, and standards.

Must have and not negotiable:

8 or more years of experience - Understanding Environmental health and safety legislation
8 or more years of experience - Conducting Environmental health and safety risk assessment
Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISO 22301 (BCMS), ISO/IEC 17025 (Laboratory accreditation),ISO 17024 (Info Sec)
Certified ISO auditor and or certified business process management professional

Qualifications:

Minimum Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health qualification.

Professional Experience:

Certified ISO auditor and or certified business process management professional

Responsibilities:

Measures and evaluates the implemented QEHS management systems and related best practices in order to develop and direct activities designed to continually improve performance.
Maintains expert knowledge level regarding best practices, including existing and proposed environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
Develops and directs the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis of the company activities in order to identify on an ongoing basis; new and/or previously undiscovered quality risks, environmental aspects and safety hazards.
Implemented QEHS related best practices in order to develop continually the maturity of the QEHS management system and its business processes
Lead co-ordination of SOFI Reporting
