SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry, has an opportunity available for a Quality Supervisor in the Germiston area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent
National Diploma/ Certificate in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Food Technology
At least 2 years’ experience in a chemical or related laboratory, supervisory role
ISO standards knowledge
Shopware experience
MS Office

KPAs:

Ensure laboratory is managed properly by having controlled and documented specifications for all products in place
Ensure that the correct product standards which are in good condition are available in the laboratory
Maintain calibration status and records as per calibration frequency for lab test and equipment
Daily monitoring of previous day’s quality inspection results
Ensure accurate completion or results recording on Shopware, log sheets and NCR’s by all QC staff
Complete NCR’s raised on quality timeously
Conduct internal audits, trend analysis, root cause analysis on customer complaints and non-conformances
Ensure food safety procedures and good manufacturing practices are adhered to at all times
