SUMMARY:
Quantity Surveyor – Upmarket Residential Projects (Durbanville)

POSITION INFO:
A leading Durbanville-based residential building contractor is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-end residential homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates
Manage project budgets, progress claims, and final accounts
Conduct regular cost reporting and forecasting
Assess and certify subcontractor and supplier payments
Support procurement processes and contract administration
Collaborate with architects, clients, and site teams to ensure project efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential construction
Proven experience with upmarket or bespoke home builds is advantageous
Strong knowledge of JBCC contracts and local building regulations
Proficient in Excel and QS software (e.g., BuildSmart, CCS Candy)
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive work ethic
Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying
