POSITION INFO:

One of the world’s leading international manufacturers in the industrial plant solutions space is looking to give an ambitious and dedicated individual the opportunity to develop a South African footprint for its leading product range. Be the driving force that not only heads up, but also develops the Gauteng region with the backing of an international technical team with supporting knowledge and expertise.  A solid sales solution background with equal technical aptitude and a rich knowledge of the food processing sector will secure you an interview.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ management experience in a Sales Management roles with emphasis on people management
• Tertiary Sales and Marketing diploma/degree advantageous

Minimum requirements

• Responsible for the overall sales in the KZN area
• Manages Sales reps
• Ensures that sales targets are met

Core purpose of the Job:

• To maintain and grow current business from a regional perspective, identify and respond to new business opportunities pro-actively as to ensure growth. Manage Commercial Representatives in the regions and set high expectations for excellent customer service.
• Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
• Coach the representatives on issues and challenges they are experiencing in the region and provide guidance to them on resolving the issues by e.g. brainstorming.
