About the Role Our client, a leading and highly respected organisation, is seeking a high-calibre Regional Manager: Commercial to join their leadership team in Johannesburg. This strategic role requires a commercially minded CA(SA) to drive regional financial performance, provide expert business partnering, and oversee complex commercial operations to ensure long-term profitability and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the regional commercial strategy by providing insightful financial analysis and decision support to the executive team. Oversee comprehensive financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed variance analysis for the region. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. Manage large-scale commercial contracts and negotiations to ensure optimal risk mitigation and value creation. Drive regional performance by monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Ensure robust internal controls and compliance frameworks are adhered to across all regional business units. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Requirements CA(SA) qualification is essential. Minimum of 8-10 years of post-article experience in a senior commercial or financial management capacity. Proven track record in a regional or multi-site leadership role within a large-scale corporate environment. Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial modelling. Exceptional negotiation skills and experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships. Deep understanding of South African regulatory and compliance standards.
