SUMMARY:
Civil Engineer/Project Construction Manager required at a hospital group as a Program Manager. Responsible for all project planning and implementation on a program management level. Project management , solid Facility Management experience required. Hospital and health care projects experience essential. Project management, construction Management and facility Management for the region.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Regional Healthcare Construction Programme Manager

Location: Gauteng

Full construction and Property Management function within the private healthcare or hospital environment

Project manager will be responsible for full Construction Program Management and the roll out of construction Projects. Successful applicant will also take full responsibility for the development and maintenance of existing hospitals, clinics and other properties

Minimum Requirements / Qualification:

• B. Tech or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or B.Sc. Quantity serveying
• 10 years’ experience in Construction Project management and Facility management
• Proven solid experience in hospital building projects
• Advantageous if person has a Construction Project Management; Engineering or Facility Management qualification

Responsibilities:

• Manage interface between Project Teams, including regular progress reporting
• Apply risk management principles
• Ensure quality control of projects
• Contract management
• Liaise with local and national statutory authorities
• Manage and supervise professionals such as design engineers and project managers
