Regional Sales & Branch Manager - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of decorative polystyrene cornices and is looking for a Regional Sales and Branch Manager for their Cape Town branch.

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification

Proven problem solving, people management, communication, and conflict handling skills

Oversees the regional branch of the company

In charge of everyday business and employees in the branch

Manage client relationships by providing excellent customer service

Involved in the hiring, training and mentoring of branch employees

Implementing & maintaining sales, marketing strategies and merchandising standards as well as the branch’s upkeep

The incumbent will also be responsible for the implementation and adherence to all policies regarding safety, client relations, administration within the branch

Supervise the day to day operational aspects 

Provide Reports on Market Movement and Penetration

Meet goals and metrics given by Head Office

Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately

Responsible for growing customer base; consumer and business relationships through internal and external marketing programs.

Adhere to set expectations of CEO

Minimum Requirements;

Matric or Grade 12

Excellent communication skills

Relevant Tertiary qualification will be greatly advantageous

Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience

SAP

Advanced in all Microsoft packages

Knowledge of industry

Understanding of knowledge of relevant legislation

Strong knowledge of computer software 

Practically minded

Strong sense of leadership 

Excellent written and verbal communication

Developing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans

Proven Branch Management experience

Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices

Ability to meet sales targets and production goals

Excellent organizational skills

Results-driven

Customer focused

Strong leadership
