SUMMARY:
A Very well established company in Western Cape is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric
5 years sales management experience
Experience in the retail and industrial industry
Must be vibrant and energetic
Must be willing to travel
Valid drivers license

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve 100% of sales targets
Attain 100% of gross profit rand targets by ensuring the required retail GP margin
Drive turnover growth with existing customers
Increase revenue from newly acquired customers
Expand sales through the introduction of new products
Ensure new products contribute at least 8% to total turnover
Optimize the frequency and cost-efficiency of sales representatives’ call cycles
Implement and manage a structured sales process to ensure high-quality customer engagement
Monitor the utilization of training tools provided to sales reps
Track customer segmentation to prioritize high-value versus lower-priority customers
Increase adoption and usage of the Rapid Trade platform
Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and effectively
Monitor and ensure timely turnaround of customer returns and repairs, escalating when necessary
Manage staffing levels within agreed budget constraints
Achieve Employment Equity targets
Maintain effective leave planning and proactively manage absenteeism
Facilitate relevant training and development programs
Conduct performance reviews, agree on ratings, and set future performance goals
Provide regular, constructive feedback and coaching to employees
Enforce disciplinary action when necessary
Develop in-depth expertise in the full product range
Set and manage customer expectations regarding stock availability and delivery timelines
