SUMMARY:
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - FMCG - JOHANNESBURG

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BSc (Science) or BCom (Business) qualification
6–8 years’ experience in commercial or technical sales
Must be JHB-based with strong knowledge of the region
Proven sales record with consistent performance
Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and proactive approach
Strong communication and goal-setting skills
Stable career history (no frequent job-hopping)

Responsibilities:

Plan fortnightly sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach.
Learn and apply client classifications.
Build market share across all categories.
Drive and achieve volumes/budget across all categories.
Build on and research product and industry knowledge.
Work on promotional activity as per standards.
Build solid, long-standing client relationships.
Absolute focus on customer and service.
Weekly sales reports.
Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market.
Provide information on market trends as required.
Sales administration.
Establish and manage client account agreements.
Develop new relationships through field visits.
Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters
