A well-established provider of packaging automation solutions is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to develop and grow its footprint within the KwaZulu-Natal region. This role is ideal for a high-energy sales professional with a passion for technical solutions and customer engagement.

Job & Company Description

Join a reputable organisation specialising in automated packaging machinery and solutions across various industries. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering value-driven packaging solutions to customers across KZN.
You will be responsible for developing new accounts while maintaining existing customer relationships, working closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet operational and production requirements. The role offers strong earning potential, autonomy, and long-term growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow new business opportunities within the KZN region
Promote and sell packaging automation solutions to industrial and manufacturing clients
Manage and expand existing customer relationships
Conduct client visits, needs analysis and solution-based sales presentations
Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure accurate solution offerings
Prepare quotations, proposals and close sales opportunities
Achieve sales targets and contribute to market growth within the region
Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates

Education

Relevant qualification in sales, business, engineering or a related field (advantageous)

Job Experience & Skills Required

Proven experience as a Sales Executive or Business Development professional
Experience selling packaging machinery, automation solutions or industrial equipment will be highly advantageous
Strong understanding of solution-based or consultative sales
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel across KZN
