SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join a cutting-edge, global IT environment delivering enterprise-scale solutions across cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering.

This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who thrives in high-performance environments, takes ownership, and is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure systems.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure

Design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Manage Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, health, and scaling
Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
Drive cost optimisation and performance improvements
Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness

CI/CD & Automation

Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Automate operational processes and reduce manual effort
Implement deployment automation and GitOps practices
Maintain build tools and artifact management systems

Security & Compliance

Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, scanning)
Enforce best practices across cloud, containers, and IAM
Drive vulnerability remediation and compliance alignment
Balance security with delivery speed

Monitoring & Reliability

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Build dashboards for real-time system visibility
Lead incident response and root cause analysis
Continuously improve uptime and system resilience

Technical Optimisation

Drive lifecycle management (upgrades, migrations, deprecations)
Identify optimisation opportunities across the tech stack
Contribute to platform engineering strategy and roadmap

Essential Skills & Experience

10+ years’ experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE
Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda)
Expertise in Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
Strong Kubernetes and Docker experience
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK)
Strong troubleshooting and incident management capability
Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Relevant certifications advantageous (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform)
