Duties:

Remuneration Focus (20%)
Prepare salary data for external benchmarking and analysis
Assist with reward programme administration (e.g. annual increases, STI/LTI calculations)
Compile data for annual BBBEE audits and COIDA submissions
Ensure compliance with relevant reward legislation and support year-end audit requirements
Support communication efforts around reward programmes
Data Analytics Focus (80%)
Gather, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reports
Identify trends, insights, and opportunities that influence decision-making
Validate findings using statistical methods
Contribute to automation and optimisation of payroll data processes
Support year-end reporting and ad hoc data needs
Ensure data privacy and compliance with POPIA across all work

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or similar

Experience:

3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or remuneration
Strong skills in Excel (including pivot tables & complex formulas), Power BI, SQL or Tableau
Knowledge of HR systems, payroll structures, and remuneration frameworks is a plus
GRP certification (advantageous)

Skills & Competencies:

Analytical with sharp attention to detail
Organised and deadline-oriented, even under pressure
A confident communicator who works well with cross-functional teams
Able to handle sensitive data with professionalism and discretion
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively
Experienced in supporting senior leadership through actionable insights
