POSITION INFO:
A well-established and reputable financial services organisation is looking to appoint a Reporting Financial Manager to join its finance team based in Morningside. This role is ideal for a technically accomplished CA(SA) who is passionate about financial reporting, General Ledger integrity, and continuous process improvement. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the management reporting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial information while maintaining the integrity of a complex General Ledger environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the management reporting function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of monthly financial reporting. Review complex General Ledger transactions, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Oversee month-end reporting, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables. Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to drive performance and accountability. Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting accuracy across the finance function. Partner with business stakeholders to provide meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting frameworks. Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) qualification is essential. 2-3 years' post-articles experience. Proven Financial Management or Reporting experience. Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge. Proven ability to manage high-volume General Ledger environments and resolve reporting discrepancies. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
