JOB SUMMARY:
Recruiting for a Head of Reporting role with a global business for a qualified Chartered Accountant with consolidations experience. This role is responsible for internal and external reporting and tax by collaborating with various stakeholders in the business, where necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Head of Reporting
Location: Johannesburg - Midrand

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
As the Head of Reporting you will prepare cost centre reports for various cost centres; prepare consolidated management accounts for all cost centres; control the fixed assets register; review debtors/creditors aging; review all items on the balance sheet monthly; prepare the monthly balance sheet file with schedules for all balance sheet items; prepare annual budgets for individual cost centres; and consolidated view of budgets for management. Preparation of financial input for quarterly Board and EXCO pack. Integration of commercial and financial reporting. Performing the tax calculations and management of tax returns. Review of inter-company transaction and ensuring compliance with both tax and statutory requirements.

The role interfaces with all levels of management and finance divisions across the business on a daily basis. This will give you exposure to all levels of seniority and a fantastic opportunity to network across different divisions within the business.

Responsible for reporting, both national and international.

Education:

CA(SA)
4+ years post articles experience

Experience:

Oracle HFM experience preferable
Excel modelling
Strong technical background IFRS
Good understanding of tax
Ability to manage teams and work with business unit heads
