Retail Operations Manager

SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to collect, organise, analyse and present data relevant to Retail

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Areas

• Collecting, analysing, and interpreting Retail data including measurement of financial data originating from stores
• Reporting of Retailer results including DC run stores
• Analyse store performance stats
• Ensure that financial standards are implemented in stores
• Analysing of financial statements
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
• Monitor and maintain data sources
• Compile and analyse of cash flow forecasts and feasibilities
• Establishing and maintaining a sound business relationship with Retailers

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
• Matric
• BCOM Accounting/Financial Management
• 3-5 years’ experience in Retail Management
• High level of computer literacy especially Excel
• Ability to analyse and interpret data
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Financial and business understanding
• Good knowledge of store operations
• Good interpersonal and people management skills
• Able to work independently
