Retail Planner – Cape Town (Northern Suburbs)

ð° Salary: R480 000 – R540 000 CTC per annum (Negotiable)

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable retail strategies? A leading homewares brand is seeking a Retail Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is driven by numbers, trends, and customer demand.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage merchandise plans across retail and e-commerce channels
Forecast sales and stock levels to support product availability and turnover
Analyse performance data to guide buying and replenishment decisions
Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, and Operations teams to align strategies
Monitor product lifecycle and manage markdowns and promotions
Use planning systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, JDA) to optimise inventory and sales

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Retail, Supply Chain, or Business
3+ years’ experience in retail planning or merchandise planning
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Experience with ERP or planning systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Homewares or lifestyle retail experience is a plus
