Retail Project Administrator with Logistics experience (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town) R12,000 – R17,000 PM.

I am urgently seeking a Project Administrator who has logistics experience within the retail industry. The ideal candidate has worked as a Project & Logistics Administrator or Coordinator within the retail installation, shopfitting and visual merchandising space. Ideal candidates will be hard-working, results-driven, have high integrity, energetic and smart, who have the ability to multi-task and think outside of the box!

Requirements:

- Matric + relevant tertiary qualification(s)

- Valid driver’s license & car

- Above average computer literacy with high proficiency in Excel

- At least 2 years of working experience as a Project Administrator / Project Coordinator and/or Logistics Administrator / similar within the retail installation/shopfitting/VM space

- Able to work longer hours or outside of normal office hours is required

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

- Good numerical & administrative skills

- Solutions oriented & a can-do attitude

- Highly organised & able to work on tight deadlines

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and able to multi-task

- Able to work independently & in a team

Job Description:

- Project planning and managing all logistics

- Keeping track of quantity, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

- Directing, optimising, and coordinating the full logistics cycle

- You will be required to visit suppliers in this role to ensure successful shipment of large campaigns

- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information

- Supervise projects remotely and on-site when required

- Ensure that client needs are met as projects evolve

- Build audit documents and completion reports

- Report to the project manager and admin staff as necessary to ensure projects are planned and completed on time, to the required standards
