Revenue Auditor

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Auditor to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of revenue transactions across hotel operations within this hotel group.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily audits of hotel revenue across all departments. Reconcile revenue, payments, rebates, discounts, commissions and other financial transactions. Verify that all revenue is accurately recorded and supported by appropriate documentation. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances. Review daily revenue reports, cashier summaries and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls and financial procedures. Prepare and distribute daily revenue and audit reports. Liaise with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Reservations and Finance teams regarding revenue-related queries. Assist with month-end procedures and financial reconciliations. Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements where appropriate. Minimum Requirements: SA Citizen. Matric \/ Grade 12. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or a related field . Previous experience in hotel revenue auditing, night audit or financial administration . Experience working with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and financial systems. Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. Good numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience within a hotel group or multi-property environment is essential.
