SUMMARY:
Risk and compliance are an integral part in any successful business. Our client, a fast growing start up, is seeking a seasoned risk and compliance professional to develop data-driven risk management frameworks for all businesses throughout Africa. The successful incumbent needs to come from short term insurance, as well as, specific exposure to data-driven risk management & innovated strategies.

Duties

Develop data-driven risk management framework

Report to the EXCO and board on emerging risks and risk mitigating strategies, as well as reactive monitoring of risk

Development of risk management policies

Delivers regular risk analysis reports to company executives complete with actionable plans for avoiding or preventing potential threats at all levels

Financial & BI Modelling

Special projects

Experience:

Short term insurance

Regulatory and compliance exposure across all African countries

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, actuarial science, mathematics, or risk management
