SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive sector based in Rosslyn is seeking a dynamic Robot Specialist to join their team who will perform general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance as well as fault finding maintenance on industrial robots, project installations and robotic applications

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas Repair and maintain robots to ensure customer and company quality standards are met. Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction. Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data. Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times. Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement. Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions. Knowledge and Skills required. Technical techniques Fault finding and robots repair and maintenance KUKA and ABB Manufacturing processes BMW V8 Basic understanding of quality systems Fault finding and maintenance presses Problem solving Communication Read electronic drawings Minimum Requirements NQF 6 Educational qualification: Qualified Electrician\/ Millwright\/ Mechatronics\/Electrical\/Electronics\/Instrumentation Engineering Minimum 5 years' experience as a Robot Technician within an Automotive environment Extensive working knowledge of ABB and Kuka Robots.
