Responsibility:

As Head of Broker Development, you will be at the helm of our expansion strategy, tasked with recruiting and onboarding Broker Partners nationwide, accelerating growth across key business units, and leading a team of sales executives committed to excellence. Your leadership will empower their brokerage network, harnessing deep industry expertise and leveraging strong relationships for sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, onboard, and nurture Broker Partners across South Africa’s diverse markets.
Drive strategic growth in existing business units, enhancing revenue and market presence.
Build, mentor, and lead a results-oriented team of new business sales executives.
Collaborate closely with compliance, underwriting, and operational teams to ensure seamless partnership experiences.
Foster an entrepreneurial and hands-on culture that encourages innovation and accountability.
Develop and execute performance metrics and growth targets aligned with company objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, Financial Services, or a related field.
Proven track record in sales leadership, brokerage growth, or insurance business development.
Established and respected network within the short-term insurance industry.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with an ability to inspire and develop talent.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on approach to driving business results and overcoming challenges.
