SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a SAP SD Functional Consultant – Incident Management - 12 month contractor role.
The SAP SD Functional Consultant will focus on addressing production issues related to the Sales and Distribution module. The consultant will work within the incident management process to ensure that sales-related operational issues are resolved with minimal disruption to business operations.

POSITION INFO:
Required Skills and Experience:

2–4 years of experience in SAP SD support roles.
In-depth understanding of sales order processing, pricing procedures, shipping, and billing.
Familiarity with interfaces and IDocs relevant to the SD module.
Experience with ITSM ticketing tools and incident workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and resolve incidents tied to SD processes (Order-to-Cash, billing, shipping, pricing, etc.).
Provide timely functional analysis and resolution of tickets raised by business users.
Liaise with business stakeholders to clarify incident context and reproduce issues.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM, ABAP) to resolve integration-related incidents.
Document incident resolution steps and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
Adhere to defined SLAs for incident response and resolution

General Attributes:

Familiarity with ITIL-based incident management processes.
Ability to manage priorities and multitask in a high-volume support environment.
