Role Title: SAP SD Functional Consultant (Advanced)
Contract Duration: 01 October 2025 – 31 December 2028 (3-year renewable contract, subject to performance & project availability)
Location: Menlyn, Pretoria (Hybrid: ~8 days in office per month, subject to manager discretion)
Nationality: South African citizens/residents preferred, applicants with valid work permits will also be considered
 
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SAP SD Functional Consultant (Advanced) to join the Vehicle Invoicing AG Feature Team. You will be responsible for supporting operations, handling incidents, problem resolution, and contributing to the successful delivery of SAP SD solutions within a dynamic global IT environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Perform interface monitoring: IDOC and RFC processing.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and close operational and maintenance tickets within SLA.
• Create and maintain Solution Guides and ensure Knowledge Transfer within the team.
• Execute configuration changes and support production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with global consultants and stakeholders across different regions.
• Engage with clients via meetings, calls, and emails.
• Actively contribute within the Agile framework (stand-ups, sprint reviews, planning, retrospectives).
• Daily use of the Agile toolchain for updates and progress tracking.

• SAP SD Certification.
• Strong, hands-on SAP SD consulting experience.
• Operations experience (ticket handling, incident/problem management).
• Familiarity with Agile Working Model (AWM).

• SAP FI exposure.
• SAP ABAP debugging.
• IDocs, AIF knowledge.
• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Jira and Confluence exposure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and time management.

• Relevant IT / Business Degree or Certifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ SAP SD consulting experience.
