GLOBAL INVESTMENT FIRM, whose focus is on sustainability and the pioneering of finance solutions, is currently expanding their dynamic Finance team and in search of a resilient and qualified Accountant to further enhance and strengthen their SA based finance team.

One would describe you as a highly analytical, results-orientated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.  You possess strong Excel and technical accounting skills together with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise and deliver results.

Key responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility of the position is the preparation of the financial records, this includes but is not limited to;
• Monthly financial information and management accounts
• Assist with the annual external audit preparation
• Assist with the preparation of the annual business plans and monthly reforecasts 
• Assist with the calculation and submission of statutory reporting
• Assist with ad hoc projects 

Qualifications and Experience required:

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification with 1-2 years post articles and / or related accounting experience gained within the financial services arena
• Solid command of written and verbal English
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High levels of meticulous attention to detail with superb organisational skills is a non-negotiable
• Strong learning agility
• Strong knowledge of complex accounting standards
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skill
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency on Microsoft Dynamics would be a +!
