GLOBAL INVESTMENT FIRM, whose focus is on sustainability and the pioneering of finance solutions, is currently expanding their dynamic Finance team and in search of a resilient and qualified Accountant to further enhance and strengthen their SA based finance team.

One would describe you as a highly analytical, results-orientated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You possess strong Excel and technical accounting skills together with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise and deliver results.

Key responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the position is the preparation of the financial records, this includes but is not limited to;
Monthly financial information and management accounts
Assist with the annual external audit preparation
Assist with the preparation of the annual business plans and monthly reforecasts
Assist with the calculation and submission of statutory reporting
Assist with ad hoc projects

Qualifications and Experience required:

CA(SA) or CIMA qualification with 1-2 years post articles and / or related accounting experience gained within the financial services arena
Solid command of written and verbal English
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
High levels of meticulous attention to detail with superb organisational skills is a non-negotiable
Strong learning agility
Strong knowledge of complex accounting standards
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skill
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency on Microsoft Dynamics would be a +!
