GLOBAL INVESTMENT FIRM, whose focus is on sustainability and the pioneering of finance solutions, is currently expanding their dynamic Fund Accounting team and in search of a resilient Finance professional to manage the outsourced fund administrator, multiple fund accounts and depositary to ensure delivery to investors.

One would describe you as a highly analytical, results-orientated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.  You possess strong Excel and technical accounting skills together with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review fund closing workings and income calculations and manage debtors aging
• Determine investor allocation 
• Manage payment process 
• Review and finalisation of reporting packs, annual financial statements, and governance reports and other management information
• Maintain Fund Model 
• Banking & treasury
• VAT/Corporate Tax compliance
• Manage external audit
• Keeping abreast of industry development/technologies
• Execution of ad hoc projects

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Recently qualified CA(SA) qualification [or similar] with relevant experience in the financial services sector
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe PDF
• Strong knowledge of complex accounting standards would be a distinct advantage
• High levels of meticulous attention to detail with superb organisational skills is a non-negotiable
• Strong learning agility
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skill
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
