POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric essential, with a tertiary qualification beneficial
• At least 10 years' experience
• Excellent knowledge of general MS Office packages and Legal Suite
• MS Word advanced functions; track changes, bullets and numbering and columns and tables etc.
• Dictaphone phone typing, diary management
• Well organised and conscientious
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Maintain high standard of confidentiality
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology
• Strong organisational skills combined with the ability to work independently
• Professional, detail orientated and a problem solver
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
• Take initiative and be diligent
• Ability to multi task
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Full function secretarial and administration assistant
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and service providers when instructed to do so by a Director
• FICA administration, following up to ensure that the FICA requirements are complete
• High court litigation
• Preparing resource, counsel and client files
• Managing debtors with the accounts department
• Working on Case Lines
• Liaising with Advocates, Counsel, and high-end clients directly
• Experience in Commercial and Litigation
• Typing commercial documents and agreements
• Formatting of long documents
• Professional meeting arrangements and diary co-ordination
• Basic time capturing and billing
• Afrikaans/English proficiency a non-negotiable
