JOB SUMMARY:
Managing and coordinating all quality systems, compliance requirements, record
keeping and reporting for all proficiency testing schemes. And to ensure the external
and internal quality requirements of the products, services and systems are fit for
purpose and maintained at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification:

Bachelor of Science degree – Major: Chemistry
Obtained from UJ or Wits

Experience

Min 5-8 years of mining experience
Min 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Specialist Role- Preferably in the Mining Industry

Competencies

Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 17025, mineral analytical chemistry, statistics, the mining industry, laboratory quality assurance, metrology and nuclear regulation
PC Literate (MS Office)
Extensive knowledge of chemical methods and principle
Technical Signatory
Registration with relevant Statutory Bod (e.g., SACNASP)
Persuasive and articulation – communicates clearly and reason logically
