SUMMARY:
We are recruiting an experienced SHE Specialist to drive Safety, Health and Environmental compliance across automotive manufacturing facility

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the OHS Act, NEMA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related legislation. Maintain and continuously improve the SHE Management System. Lead internal and external SHE audits and ISO certification activities. Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain SHE policies, procedures and legal registers. Drive safety initiatives, behavioural safety and continuous improvement. Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills and emergency response programmes. Train, coach and support SHE Coordinators, First Aiders, Fire Fighters and SHE Representatives. Monitor SHE performance, compile reports and ensure compliance across manufacturing sites. Minimum Requirements Grade 12. National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Safety Management. 3 to 5 years experience as a SHE Specialist or similar role. Manufacturing or automotive industry experience is essential. Knowledge of the OHS Act, NEMA, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Internal Auditor certification (ISO 14001\/45001) advantageous. SAMTRAC or equivalent safety qualification advantageous. Strong incident investigation, risk assessment and auditing experience.
