SUMMARY:
IntelliStaff is sourcing for a SHEQ officer with Road Freight Industry Experience.

POSITION INFO:

LOCATION: Isando, East Rand

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and improves on current safety programs
Maintain SQAS accreditation
Prepares the company for ISO9001 and RTMS certification
Maintains and updates safety documents ad records on a continuous basis
Daily vehicle and equipment audits
Checks expiry dates and arranges training, inductions etc. for all employees
Conducts audits on drivers at customer site
Regular checks on PPE
Communicates regularly with customers and other external parties
Prepares monthly reports
Ensure all employees adhere to all safety rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:

Grade 12
Read, Write & Communicate effectively in English
Must be fully computer literate
Must have minimum - unendorsed code 8 license
Must be prepared to work overtime at short notice
Must have some basis qualification in SHEQ management or administration
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a SHEQ environment
Must have experience on how to conduct audits
Must have knowledge on implementing and maintaining ISO systems
Must have above average knowledge of OHSACT
