SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales / Account Manager (AM) to join their company in Sunninghill Gauteng. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving sales, and delivering IT solutions including services, hardware, and software.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
Sales certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) or equivalent (advantageous)
IT-related certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, or vendor-specific hardware/software) are a plus
Proven experience in IT sales, account management, or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Knowledge of IT services, hardware, and software solutions
Strong relationship management and client-facing skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in pursuing business opportunities

Job Duties:

Identify and acquire new business opportunities in IT services, hardware, and software solutions
Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Develop and present IT solutions proposals tailored to client needs
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance updates
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

Salary:

R25,000 – R30,000 per month, dependent on experience.
