Our client in the Manufacturing and Industrial Flooring Industry is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team based in Kempton Park. The purpose of this role is to manage, maintain and grow the organisations active distributor client accounts, and to grow distributor account networks by signing new distributors within assigned territories. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, driven, motivated and flexible to change.
 
Required Qualifications & Working Experience:

• Matric
• Degree or Diploma will be advantageous
• 5 years Sales experience
• Valid Drivers License and Own Vehicle
• Proficiency using the full MS Office Suite
• Experience using business platforms, e.g. LinkedIn, WhatsApp for Business, etc.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities: Organisational Reporting: Report on Sales Performance and activities on a monthly basis to Sales Manager as set out, including but not limited to; Sales budget and pipeline reporting, specifying techniques platform management and reporting Account Management (Existing & New): Minimum of 20 total monthly client visits to activate distributor accounts within Top 30 active distributor accounts report Each client visit to contain elements of product and concept training or new business and product development discussions Complete client visit reports Business Creation: Target specifying market to introduce the organisations range of relevant products to market segments Actively target and set meetings with new potential distributor accounts that fall within region\/ territory and target industry Actively target and set meetings with new large end-user accounts that fall within region\/ territory and target industry to specify organizational product solutions Marketing: Assist in preparation for any exhibitions that we either attend alone or jointly with distributors Effective Customer Service: Prepare detailed quotations, including availability, price and delivery forecast effectively and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and requirements Take a pro-active approach to understanding product applications and alternatives Stock awareness - select stock in adherence to FIFO principles wherever practicable Raise all necessary documentation, including other acknowledgements Amend customer orders where necessary Reliable Customer Feedback: Proactively contact customers, keeping them fully updated at all times Notify customers of any known issues or information that may conflict with their requirements or cause delays Resolve Complaints: Ensure all customer complaints are recorded, providing the necessary details in order to carry pout the relevant corrective actions, prevent action, creditor notes and sundry invoices where applicable
