Sales Account Manager

Our client in the Manufacturing industry (Construction/ Mining products) is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager with a track record selling products into the Construction and Mining industry.

The company is a Market Leader and the biggest manufacturer in its industry. 

Responsibilities:

• Achieve agreed sales target
• Actively look for new customers and opportunities
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers
• Expedite and follow up on the resolution of customer queries and complaints
• Research and keep abreast of market conditions
• Develop a weekly call planner and schedule appointments
• Complete and submit weekly and monthly reports
• Provide after-sales service
• Ensure timely completion of enquiries, quotes and tenders
• Responsible for general sales administration
• Prepare sales aids and materials

Requirements

• Matric
• Sales/ Marketing qualification would be an advantage
• 5+ years experience selling to the construction/ mining industry
• Experience dealing with a project-based environment
• Ability to read and modify technical drawings would be an advantage
