Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Updating and publishing monthly fund fact sheets of our funds (prepping data, inputting into database, quality checking).
• Updating monthly graphs, data tables, charts etc (performance charts, fund allocation images, scatter plots etc) and creating new ones as and when required.
• Working on and updating presentations.
• Setting up and running the tech behind the webinars.
• Setting up and sending out the quarterly newsletters via MailChimp.
• Setting up and updating client data feeds.
• Maintaining the website, ensuring data tables and graphs are updated and creating new pages as and when required.
• Maintaining the Salesforce database.
• Maintaining the Morningstar database.
• Maintaining the Statpro database.
• Collecting, prepping and upseting data into Salesforce; liaising with platforms regarding their data and fixing and problems that arise.
• Liaising with data providers when they reach out to ensure accuracy of data; initiating contact and correcting errors when we pick up issues on their platforms.
• Making use of data visualisation tools to create dashboards to gain valuable insight into our data; maintaining and updating existing dashboards.
• Coding in SQL to create data tables that are used in a number of visualisations, reports etc as and when required (not really applicable anymore - the tables have been created but if there is an issue then one needs to understand SQL to sort it out).
• Entry-level use of Javascript in conjunction with GSuite to create automated tools (CPD certificate generator, bulk emailer) (not really applicable anymore - similar to the above).
• Data analysis to extract useful insights in order to produce reports.
• Interacting with institutional and retail clients, bigger advisors, DFMs, private clients when required.
• Completing due diligence documents, questionnaires, report-back templates, quarterly data templates, DD databases.
• In-depth research on particular areas of interest to the marketing team when required by the Director.
• Keeping up-to-date with fund changes and investment thinking so as to communicate this to ISs/assist with queries.
• Maintaining a wide knowledge of current affairs, politics, competitor funds, shares, industry changes etc so as to assist ISs.

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Education.
• At least 4-5 years’ experience.
• Resilient.
• Driven and creative thinking processes.
• Ability to solve complex problems.
