SUMMARY:
Our esteemed client in Germiston is urgently seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen its Construction, Piling, Foundations, Ground Engineering, and Infrastructure Solutions business throughout Africa.

Salary Offered: R125 000.00 CTC Per Month:
Medical aid contribution / Petrol allowance / Travel allowance
This person should have their own “bakkie / 4x4” they will pay for maintenance
Cell phone allowance
Living out allowance: the candidate will be doing extensive travel on the African region. Starting in the southern region then the northern region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, supporting existing customers, and driving sustainable sales growth across the region while working closely with the company's international sales network.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will promote our client's complete range of Construction and Ground Engineering solutions, with primary emphasis on DTH Casing Advance Systems manufactured in Finland, supported by their comprehensive portfolio of DTH and RC drilling equipment, piling tools, foundation drilling systems, consumables and ground engineering solutions. Required Qualifications & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related technical discipline. Alternatively, significant practical experience in drilling, piling, foundation construction or ground engineering operations. Minimum of five years' experience in technical sales, business development or project management within Construction, Piling, Foundations, Ground Engineering, Infrastructure or Drilling industries Strong understanding of drilling methods, ground conditions, piling systems, geotechnical applications and construction site operations. Proven success in developing new markets, managing strategic customer accounts and delivering profitable sales growth. Experience working with contractors, consulting engineers and infrastructure project stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with the ability to analyse quotations, project costs, margins and sales performance. Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southern Africa and the wider African region Business Development & Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow Our client's Construction, Piling, Foundation and Ground Engineering business throughout Africa. Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities with construction contractors, foundation specialists, infrastructure developers, EPC contractors, consultants and project owners. Build and manage long-term relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners. Track major infrastructure, civil engineering and mining projects from concept through execution, ensuring Their products are specified during tender and procurement stages. Negotiate commercial agreements, quotations and contracts to achieve sustainable revenue growth and profitability. Technical Sales Support: Promote Our client's complete portfolio of drilling, piling and ground engineering products and solutions. Provide technically sound equipment selection based on geological conditions, drilling methodology and project requirements. Deliver complete system solutions including drilling tools, casing advance systems, hammers, bits and related consumables. Conduct customer presentations, technical demonstrations and product evaluations. Coordinate field trials and product introductions to validate performance under site conditions. Customer Support & Training: Provide technical support before, during and after equipment installation and commissioning. Conduct operator and customer training to maximise equipment performance and productivity. Assist customers with troubleshooting and optimisation of drilling operations. Work closely with Our client's Service Department and Ground Engineering Centre of Excellence to resolve technical challenges. Product & Market Development: Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within construction and infrastructure sectors. Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to Product Management and Engineering teams. Support new product launches and contribute to continuous product improvement initiatives. Assist in developing regional sales strategies and aligning best practices across Our client's international sales network. Internal Collaboration: Provide technical and commercial support to Our client's regional and global sales offices. Deliver product training and sales enablement for internal teams and distribution partners. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and activity reports.
