SUMMARY:
Our client is a global leader in mineral processing technology and equipment serving the mining, quarrying and recycling industries. They are looking for a driven and technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining and mineral processing sectors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining clients and key industry stakeholders. Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable equipment and solutions. Prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations. Work closely with engineering, operations and technical teams to support project delivery. Attend client meetings, site visits and technical discussions. Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process. Monitor mining industry developments, market trends and competitor activities. Assist clients with identifying practical and cost-effective technical solutions. Minimum Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining Engineering . 3-5 years' experience in technical sales, business development or applications engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry. Good understanding of mineral processing equipment, systems and applications . Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into practical solutions. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. Willingness to travel to mining sites and client locations as required. The Right Fit This is a hands-on technical and customer-facing position . We are looking for a dynamic, driven go-getter who is comfortable working in the field, visiting mining sites and getting their hands dirty when required.
