JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the transport, rigging and crane industry has a vacancy for a Sales Executive in Epping, Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE:

Responsible for selling services and expertise, focusing on maintaining customer relationships, business development, sales targets, and troubleshooting customer problems in line with the contract and internal standards, in order to realize long-term customer relationships and contribute to the profitability of the company.

Key Performance Areas:
Create customer interest and manage the process of repeat business.
  • Identify new sales prospects and contact them accordingly.
  • Prepare and complete client documentation for new and existing contracts.
  • Liaise with the Operations and Safety Department to ensure that Site Surveys are conducted, and Safety Files are completed timeously.
  • Work closely with Operations Team to ensure that the job or contract is successfully completed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, i.e., follow up with the client after a job or contract has been completed.
  • Document and deal with customer complaints
  • Prepare presentation, quotations, and sales contracts.
  • Ensure the timeous invoicing of clients.
  • Follow up on outstanding account payments.
  • Build a customer database.
  • Maintain CRM database on Acumatica (training to be provided)
  • Build new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships that have been assigned to you.
  • Attend and participate in marketing events like seminars and trade shows.
  • Complete monthly sales report
  • Complete a Job sheet
  • Day to Day administrative duties
  • Reach targets

Qualifications:
Diploma/Certificate /National Diploma or Relevant Degree

Knowledge and Experience:
At least 5 years of Sales experience in the General and Abnormal Transport and Crane Industry, a must.
  • Experience in the Abnormal, Normal Transport and Crane Industry
  • Experience in Heavy/Abnormal Transport and Cranes (Advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Sales and Marketing principles
  • Knowledge of Customer Service practices
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices
